I’m not sure if you’ve checked out my store, check the menu bar up top if you did, but if you haven’t, I wanted to give you some information about it!
I LOVE promoting talking about things that are really uncomfortable. I love making people uncomfortable. Not because of the reasons you might think, but more so because I’m trying to take a stand for what I believe in. And I believe in empowering women. I want women to feel advocated for.
I want to make not only women, but men uncomfortable. It’s important that we all learn to talk about things that are bothering us and talk about things that are not “right.” Things that “feel wrong.” We should be able to come to our partners, our friends, our family members about things that are bothering us.
Things like peeing our pants, things like vagina pain, all of those topics. Pain with sex, feelings of pressure and heaviness with exercise or pooping. Extreme constipation.
Why can’t we talk about these things? We discuss when we have neck pain? We talk about back pain? We tell each other when we roll an ankle... but not when we deal with a pelvic floor dysfunction...
I really want you to sit down and think about that question. I want you to think about who you have in your support system that can give you the space to talk about the uncomfortable things.
Once you find them, hold onto them... love them... forever. Because you should at least have that person who can assist you along the way. Even when it’s uncomfortable.
