I’ve never been really big on eating kale raw. I’ve always wanted to cook it or put it in a smoothie. Which is exactly what I did today!!! I realized that I do not eat enough vegetables. I know this because I looked at the servings I’m getting vs what I should have and nope. Failing. So I vowed I’d start eating green. Not the recycling things but green rabbit food.
Here is my smoothie recipe:
1 cup of strawberries
2 cups of kale
1 cup of coconut milk
Some ice cubes

Quick little review. What I love about this blender is it comes with a mill blade. I use turmeric a lot in my tea and my husband drinks it often because it helps his acid reflux. So I throw in a root and grind it. It also grinds ginger root. To me, that’s a win. It also grinds up ice cubes.
Quick little tip: if you freeze fruit juice in ice cube trays- you never get water downed smoothies….whaaat??? Who knew?!?

So, that is my recipe and review! Now for my exercise.
Today, I went back to 9round. I know. I said I was not going to, but they reel you in and gave me 2 free classes! So I took it. Today was a good mix of cardio and core and push ups. The way it works is you go in and have 3 minutes each round. Afterwards you are told what the “bonus 30 second” round it. Then you move on to the next. You have 9 rounds and you do this in 30 minutes. The trainers that are there sometimes step in and show you boxing drills and progress you which is neat. Today I did not almost die. I was very proud for making it through the entire workout without needing a long break. I kind of like this place, just wish it was not so expensive!!
