Back again..Kaylee’s back…tell a friend…. Ha! Just kidding. Not really though, seriously tell a friend to follow me if you believe the content would be something they would benefit from!
So as you all know I have a soft spot in my heart for stress and anxiety management because I’ve been through it. I’ve experienced the crippling fear of failure, fear of rejection, impaired judgement because you are literally shaking in your boots, high heart rate, heat racing up your neck and into your ears, nausea…you name it, I’ve had it. I’ve had panic attacks, had to sit in the bathroom with a cold shower to calm down, been hospitalized…yep. I’ve been THAT low. You may be asking, “What in the world is it that has the power to get you to that point?” That’s a great question. I think we all need to ask that. But first a little background on this post.
Stress is normal, if handled appropriately. If you are going through a hard time it is normal and understandable to have stress through that situation, it is all about how you handle the stress. Your body handles most of the true stresses naturally. What I mean by true stress is a reaction to a “fight or flight” situation. If someone is chasing you, you are scared, etc. then of course you will have stress responses. However, is your body able to calm your system down once the response begins? If not, you may be having what I call an Abnormal Stress Response, or a Negative Stress Response which can lead to anxiety and/or panic.
Believe it or not my life was mostly full of negative responses to stress prior to about January of this year. I always went instantly to a negative mindset, one of feeling like I’m not enough, one of feeling as if I’m never going to make it to where I want to be. You know what? F*ck that mindset, I’m DONE. I’m a damn beast and it’s about time I begin acting like one.
This weekend I got the pleasure of being involved with something that has been a life changer for me. As many of you know, I am a Doctor of Physical Therapy. I have been practicing close to 2 years but have already experienced the “horrid burnout” you hear from our profession. I’ve been struggling for several months. The anxiety was keeping me awake at night, the depression was kicking, I felt stuck. Like I would never be happy again.
Then I met a guy named Greg Todd who is changing the game. I would say for PT’s but he is changing the game for anyone wanting to learn the content. He has OT’s, massage therapists, even RN’s! The content is amazing and I’m ready to begin working on an online business to make money while I sleep!
If you are not sure where you are in your career, feeling like you are lost or burning out, feel deprived of utilizing your gifts, unable to grow or progress, then this course may be something that can help. I’ve posted my affiliate link below for you to check out some videos. This will be the last season you will get Greg all to yourself when you have questions, so jump now! Remember, you have to take risks to make gains.
The highlights of the course for me:

LIVE event every year in which you get to be surrounded by the community and feel love and support.
Opportunities to hear from students, professionals, and those who have their dream life already.
Networking options and opportunities.
Hype show dance party at the live event!
Lifetime access to the content.
Learn how to be an affiliate for different companies.
There are so many more, but this blog is not about this so I’m going to get back on track!
Watch the Magic Here!
The reason I went on a spill of the above is because that is what helped so much with changing my negative mindset and inability to handle stressors to a positive one. I got into that community and I asked for help. I am now not medicated, I sleep like a baby, and have so much freedom throughout the day when it comes to relaxation. I have taken a few tactics to improve my personal development and improve my mindset which has made the world of a difference in my life.
I read more. Books about mindset. About making money. I’m working on updating my Amazon store, but I’ve posted several of the books on my Facebook page, so go follow it here:
I say 3 things I’m grateful for in the mirror every morning. They cannot be 3 of the same things. I then write them on a post it and keep it in site all day.
I smile. All the time. Often. There is no telling who it will benefit.
I meditate daily. I’m working on increasing my meditation time to 1 full hour per day. Right now I’m at 30 minutes. I do increments of 15 minutes in the morning and 15 in the evening.
I’ve stopped listening to negative nancy’s. If someone has a problem with what I do, I write their name down and throw it away. Or I tell them I do not need that in my life and I walk away. I know it sounds harsh, but it’s life changing. My mindset flipped so fast.
I spend time on the things that will help me become who I want to be. I don’t waste my time anymore.
I surround myself with people who love me and want me to succeed.
Those are just a few. Obviously I have more to have the drastic transformation I have, but for the sake of being able to get into my series about this I will leave it at that for now!
Now. For my recipe of the day: There is not one. I was at a conference on the weekend and had no time to meal prep. For dinner I had ground turkey burger with pepper and red pepper flakes with half of an avocado! It was delicious. I will be going to the store tomorrow!
For exercise: I ran stairs again! This time only 10 times all the way up and all the way down. I was so fatigued from the lack of sleep I’d gotten over the weekend it was tough to do much more than this, but I got out there! I need to up my game with this anyways and become more active outside but it’s getting so hot!
Lots of information today! Remember to reach out with questions, thoughts, or concerns and I look forward to speaking with you!
